Aryze is COR Certified

In August 2024, we were awarded a Certificate of Recognition (COR) from WorkSafeBC.

As a voluntary program that challenges companies to go beyond the standard requirements for workplace safety, this accreditation reinforces our culture of accountability and continuous improvement—showing that safety is not just a policy but a shared value.

“Achieving COR accreditation celebrates the outstanding safety culture at Aryze. Our people are the foundational building blocks that make us who we are, and a rigorous safety program ensures we always put them first.”

Adam Evans, Safety Manager

What is COR?

In an industry where safety is paramount, COR accreditation signifies an organization has made a concerted effort to bring health and safety processes to a high standard. The COR program is nationally recognized and endorsed by the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA) and administered in British Columbia by WorkSafeBC.

Since starting the COR accreditation process, Aryze has had zero worker injury claims with WorkSafeBC. This reflects our continuous drive to enhance safety across all work environments, in-office to on-site.

What’s involved in the COR process?

The path to receiving COR accreditation involves comprehensive audits that scrutinize every aspect of safety protocols, from onsite practices to new worker onboarding. Preparing for the rigorous audit ensured that we not only meet, but exceeded standard industry safety standards.

This achievement was made possible by the commitment of every team member at Aryze, who trusted our team and the process. A special thank you goes out to our Safety Manager, Adam Evans, for his leadership and hard work over the past 18 months. In addition, thank you to our Joint Health & Safety Committee, whose dedication to assessing and improving safety practices was instrumental in earning this certification.

What’s next?

Each year, we’ll undergo audits to uphold and enhance our COR accreditation. This year, we achieved an outstanding score of 90%—the highest our auditor has awarded, and we’re committed to improving every year. Learn more about the COR program:
