Energy-Efficient Design
Designed by DAU Studio, Norma’s light exterior expression, wood soffits and intentional plantings integrate into the surrounding landscape and neighbourhood.
Norma is not the norm in rental construction. Built to meet the highest level of the BC Energy Step Code (Step Code 4), it's the first net-zero ready rental building in the district. With onsite solar energy generation, Norma is efficient enough to offset its energy use, achieving a balance between consumption and production over time. Prioritizing the health and comfort of residents, Norma also offers exceptional ventilation and temperature control systems, required to achieve this step code level.

Neighbourhood
Royal Oak is a vibrant hub of recreation, services and transit. Whether residents choose to walk to local shops, jumping on the bus to go downtown or explore nearby cycling trails, the neighbourhood is the perfect setting for an active, car-lite lifestyle.
